CIVIL SERVICES (PRELIMINARY) EXAMINATION � 2013 & INDIAN FOREST SERVICE EXAMINATION, 2013
The Union Public Service Commission will be conducting a common Examination for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2013 & Indian Forest Service Examination, 2013 at 45 Centres throughout the country on 26/05/2013 (Sunday). The e-Admit Card for the eligible candidates have been uploaded on the Commission website http://www.upsc.gov.in which may be downloaded. Reason(s) for rejection to the candidates for rejection of their candidature for these Examinations have already been sent to them through e-mail provided by them. If any applicant is not able to down load his/her e-Admit Card, he/she may contact the UPSC Facilitation Counter on Telephone Nos. 011-23385271, 011-23381125 & 011-23098543 between 10.00 A.M to 5.00 PM. on any working day. The candidates may also send fax message on Fax No. 011-23387310. The candidates may, however, note that no paper Admit Card will be issued by post.
The candidates are advised that in case the photograph is not printed or available on their e-Admit Card, they shall carry two (2) identical photographs (one photograph for each session) alongwith photo identity proof such as Aadhar Card or Voter Identity Card or Passport or Driving License and printout of e-Admit Card at the venue of the Examination to secure admission in the Examination. Such candidates will be allowed to appear in these Examinations after giving an undertaking in writing, as prescribed by the Commission and available with the Invigilators.
Candidates are advised to check their e-mail in case they have sent any representation.
MOBILE PHONES BANNED
(a) Mobile Phones or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises, where UPSC Examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action against the concerned candidates including ban from future Examinations/Selection.
(b) Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones to the venue of the examination, as arrangements for safekeeping can not be assured.
