June 2009 to September 2009 : Second Optional Subject (Mains)
October 2009 to May 2010 : First Optional Subject (Mains + Prelims)
June 2009 to May 2010 : General Studies (Mains + Prelims)
June 2010 to July 2010 : Revision of the Second Optional Subject + Compulsory Subjects
July 2010 to October 2010 : Intensive revision + Final Answer Writing

Dear aspirants, this strategy is the key to success. If you add hardwork to it, surely you can become successful in Civil Services Exam 2010. Remember some more points -
* General Studies is a daily work. Reading newspaper, magazines id essential part of GS preparation.
* Concentrated hardwork of atleast 10 hrs. daily is recommended.
* Minimum number of required books and maximum number of revision is the key.
* Study the optional subject in the time period mentioned in above strategy. * Take guidance from able seniors and teachers, good coaching may help a lot.
* Continuity in preparation is the crucial factor.
